My Fair LadyMy Fair Lady is a musical which revolves around a professor, Henry Higgins who was challenged to convert the spoiled Cockney girl, Eliza Doolittle into a decent lady and told her that she was the one with whom he wanted to be with. So the young aristocrat Freddy Eynsford Hill fell in love with her. Then a major breakthrough came up in their lives when Henry took all the credits and in anger, ditched Eliza. Later Henry realizes that what a blunder he had committed and apologised for his misdeeds that he had committed.


8. The Wiz

The-wizIt is an adaptation of the movie The Wizard of Oz, which brings the essence of African-American experience back. This was one of those musicals that made the audience glued to their seats, and the characters in this musical performed so well that the audience was not able to stop themselves from clapping in the end. This musical also got famous because of the characters like Michael Jackson, Lena Horne and many others of them, which attracted many of the audiences to the theatres.


9. Little Shop of Horrors

Little Shop of HorrorsIf somebody likes to watch comedy, then this musical could be the best choice for them. Though the title depicts this musical to be a horror one, but it actually is a comedy musical. It is based on a nerdy florist, named Seymour Krelborn who has a crush on his fellow co- worker Audrey Fulquard. One day, coincidentally he saw a weird plant which he named as Audrey II. This plant was not like a normal plant and used to get its nutrition from human blood. When Seymour approached Audrey, she denied, and the feeling of rejection made him feed her boyfriend to the plant. The twists and turns of this musical tale make the story very interesting and make the audience indulged into the characters.
