He was born on July 15, 1949 in Dubai, Trucial States. He started his formal education at Al Ahmedia School, and later, moved to Al Shaab School, at the age of 10. He also attended Dubai Secondary School, and then went to the Bell Educational Trust’s English Language School. He is popular for his first wedding in 1979, which was a grand and lavish celebration.
