He introduced other forms of cocaine, which is formally known as “crack cocaine” (a smokable form of cocaine) to Washington D.C. He found the market full of addictive customers. Rayful met a drug dealer in Las Vegas. He bought cocaine from this dealer at very low prices and sold it in Washington D.C.’s market. Later, Rayful pulled in his other siblings in his drug empire and by the time he turned 21, Rayful was a millionaire. Rayful was the drug trader, who used to hold 60% of the city’s market. Till this time, Rayful killed almost 30 people in a drug war. Because of the drug trafficking and murders, the crimes in the city were doubled, and Rayful became the police’s prime target. Police collected all the evidences and arrested him. He was arrested along with his other siblings and mother. For his trial, he was taken to the Federal Court House every day through a helicopter. The identities of judicial officials were kept hidden, and arrangements were made to make their seating area bulletproof. Rayful was charged with controlling a drug empire, killing 30 people, illegally employing a person less than 18 years of age and illegal utilization of communication facilities. Rayful was sentenced to lifetime imprisonment. From prison, Rayful managed to control his empire. When the police got to know about this, they started wiretapping his calls, but the instructions were in a code language. The police wanted to decode his instructions, so they approached Rayful. Rayful, on the other hand, made a condition to release his mother. His mother was released, and he was moved to jail’s witness protection program. He became a government informant.
