Hosni Mubarak’s Career

Hosni Mubarak initiated his career as an Egyptian Air Force officer and served in a Spitfire fighter squadron. He became the commander of Air Force Academy in 1967. In 1969, he was appointed as the Egyptian Air Force’s Chief of Staff. In 1972, Hosni attained the position of Commander of the Air Force and Egyptian Deputy Minister of Defence.  In 1975, he became the Vice President of Egypt. After the assassination of President Sadat, he acquired the position of President. He served as the chairman of the National Democratic Party. Under his reign, the citizens of the country were provided with affordable clothing, housing, medicine, and furniture. He kept an eye on the fraudulent ministers and fired them on being found indulged in wrongdoing.

The heavy protests and demonstrations compelled Mubarak to resign from the position of President. Finally, to get rid of the political pressures, he resigned in 2011.
