The Rise and Fall of Big Meech

Big Meech was a student of a high school when he commenced selling cocaine on the streets. With the course of time, he and his brother established their criminal business and became one of the biggest providers of cocaine in the United States. They supplied multi-kilogram cocaine in Ohio, Tennessee, North Carolina, Michigan, Massachusetts, Georgia, California, Alabama, Kentucky, Texas, Florida, and other states. Meech and his brother, Terry founded the Black Mafia Family. Meech used to host many lavish parties, and this became the reason of worry for Terry. He was worried that Meech will grab the attention of police by spending too much money, and can be dangerous for their business. Then, both the brothers split and rarely spoke to each other. In 2005, DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) arrested 30 members of BMF in a drug raid. DEA seized $3 million dollars cash and 2.5 kilograms of cocaine. Along with this, DEA found numerous weapons and seized them too. Meech and Terry were charged for illegally laundering over $250 million dollars, supplying over 5 kilograms of cocaine, shooting in the club and killing several people, and carrying numerous weapons illegally and without any license. They were charged with the fine of $4 million and sentenced to serve 30 years in federal prison. Currently, both the brothers are serving sentence in different jails.
