10. Richard Dreyfuss
An American actor, Richard Dreyfuss, is famous for working in movies, like Jaws, American Graffiti, The Goodbye Girl, and Close Encounters of the Third Kind. He was also the winner of an Academy Award, in 1977, for the movie “The Goodbye Girl”. Despite having a good going movie career and winning prestigious awards, Richard is struggling with the problem of bipolar disorder. In 2006, he appeared in a documentary, called “Stephen Fry: The Secret Life of the Manic Depressive”, where he was interviewed about his life and use of lithium. Richard on his disorder says, “The worst thing for me about manic-depression is that it is simply free-floating. You can have no reason whatsoever, and yet you are in the depths of an inarticulate sadness and grief and self-hatred.”
Well, one thing can surely be concluded by seeing the names in this list that even though, a person is successful, illustrious, and master in his field, despair and desolation can capture anyone in its trap. It is not always true that people with money and fame are the happiest; even they have certain distressing secrets.
